Macdonald Portal Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort, Tarporley

I had high hopes for a relaxing getaway, but my experience was quite mixed. The hotel itself was nestled in a lovely setting with ample parking, and my room was certainly comfortable. However, the chaos during breakfast and the service at dinner left a lot to be desired. While there's potential here, the dining experience really overshadowed the positives.
